Making hot chamomile tea at home is simple, relaxing, and beginner-friendly. This guide shows clear steps, time, and quick preparation.
The Process
Boil the Water: Pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan or kettle. Heat it until it reaches a rolling boil.
Add Chamomile: If using loose flowers, place them directly into the hot water or inside a tea infuser. If using a tea bag, place the tea bag into your mug.
Steep: Pour the boiling water over the chamomile if using a tea bag, or reduce heat and let loose flowers steep. Cover and let it steep for 5–7 minutes to allow full flavor to develop.
Strain (If Needed): Strain the tea into your mug if you used loose flowers.
Add Optional Ingredients: Add honey, lemon, or mint if desired. Stir gently to combine the flavors evenly.
Serve: Your chamomile hot tea is ready. Enjoy it slowly while warm for the best experience.
