Boil the Water: Bring ¾ cup water to a boil (about 200–212°F / 93–100°C).
Steep the Tea: Place tea bag in your mug. Pour hot water over it. Steep for 4–5 minutes. Remove tea bag or strain leaves.
Heat the Milk: Heat ¾ cup milk in a small pot over medium heat until hot but not boiling (about 150°F / 65°C). Alternatively, microwave for 1–1½ minutes.
Froth the Milk: Use a milk frother, whisk for 20–30 seconds, or shake hot milk in a jar with lid carefully.
Sweeten & Flavor: Add 1–2 teaspoons sweetener and ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir well.
Combine: Pour hot milk into the tea. Spoon foam on top if frothed.
