The Process
Boil Water: Heat 1 cup of water in a kettle or pot until boiling.
Brew the Tea: Place the tea bag in a mug and pour the hot water over it. Let it steep for 3–5 minutes depending on how strong you want the tea.
Sweeten the Tea: Remove the tea bag and stir in 1–2 teaspoons sugar or honey while the tea is still hot so it dissolves easily.
Add Lemon Juice: Stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
Prepare the Glass: Fill a tall glass with ½ cup ice cubes.
Pour the Tea Over Ice: Carefully pour the hot lemon tea over the ice.
Garnish & Serve Add the lemon slice if desired, stir gently, and enjoy your refreshing iced lemon tea.
