A simple guide to making a smooth iced vanilla latte at home using basic ingredients, clear steps, and beginner-friendly preparation.
The Process
Brew the Coffee: Pull 1 espresso shot using an espresso machine. If using brewed coffee, prepare strong coffee so the flavor remains balanced after adding ice.
Prepare the Glass: Fill a tall glass with 1 cup ice cubes. Pour 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup directly over the ice so sweetness distributes evenly.
Add Milk: Pour ¾ cup cold milk into the glass. Leave enough space at the top for espresso.
Add Espresso (Layer Effect): Slowly pour espresso over the milk to create a layered café-style appearance.
Stir & Taste: Stir gently before drinking. Adjust sweetness or milk amount based on preference.
