A simple guide to prepare strawberry milk at home using fresh ingredients, basic equipment, and easy steps for a single serving drink.
The Process
Mash or blend strawberries: Place the sliced strawberries in a bowl and mash them with a fork until they release juice. If you prefer a smoother drink, place the strawberries in a blender.
Add sweetener: Add 1–2 teaspoons of sugar, honey, or maple syrup to the mashed strawberries. Stir until the sweetener blends with the fruit.
Add milk: Pour 1 cup milk into the strawberry mixture.
Blend or stir: Blend for about 20–30 seconds if using a blender. If mixing by hand, stir well until the strawberries mix evenly with the milk.
Add vanilla (optional): Add ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract and mix gently to improve the flavor.
Add ice (optional): Place 2–3 ice cubes into the drink if you prefer it cold.
Serve: Pour the strawberry milk into a glass and serve immediately.
