Learn how to make a creamy white mocha at home using simple ingredients, clear steps, and easy methods for café-quality coffee anytime.
The Process
Brew the Coffee: Prepare 1 shot espresso (30 ml). If you do not have an espresso machine, use ¼ cup strong brewed coffee instead. Fresh coffee gives the best taste.
Melt the White Chocolate: Place 2 tbsp white chocolate in a mug. Add 1 tbsp hot milk and stir until smooth. This helps prevent lumps and creates a creamy base.
Heat the Milk: Heat 1 cup milk until hot but not boiling. The ideal temperature is warm enough to drink comfortably. Stir while heating to avoid burning.
Froth the Milk: Use a milk frother, whisk, or shake milk in a sealed jar to create light foam. The foam should be soft and smooth, not thick.
Combine Ingredients: Pour espresso into the melted white chocolate and stir well. Slowly add hot milk while mixing. Add foam on top for a café-style texture.
Finish and Serve: Add whipped cream if desired. You may drizzle white chocolate or sprinkle cocoa powder for presentation. Serve immediately while warm.
